I've always been a big fan of art.
From the colours, stories and types of art that can be shared, art is one of those things that I can very much appreciate. As for cards, I've always loved cards. But you already knew that, didn't you? Seeing as how the Topps Project 2020 is all the rage right now, I wanted to showcase a unique "Art Card" in my personal collection today and talk a little bit about it. These cards were produced and distributed by artist Edward Vela. He produced cards mainly across the 4 major sports and I was lucky enough to receive this copy for my goalie collection back in 2015 when he started to release his series of hockey cards. He still has a few out there today, but back when he started, his cards were much rarer and only numbered to 5 copies. The front face of this card features a beautiful rendition of Curtis "CuJo" Joseph back in his playing days with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The back of this card features an authentic signature of Vela, while also being numbered 4/5.
