In my last blog post, I learned that me and my collection were in Beckett Hockey's November issue as their featured Super Collector. As stoked as I was, I haven't actually seen the article yet - until today that is. My November Issue finally made its way into my hands today and I'm excited to show it off. For those who own their November issues already, you can find my 2-page spread on pages 24 and 25. Awesome, right?  Beckett Hockey Magazine - November Issue (2019). Have you picked up this month's Novemeber Issue of Beckett Hockey? If not, I suggest you do... because I am the featured Super Collector in this issue! Take a look at my featured article when you have the chance!
 Will this graded card be next to enter the collection? (Enroth's 2009-10 FWA Graded PSA GEM MNT - POP 10). I normally don't show off cards that I don't even own, but I've been thinking this one over for awhile now.
After picking up my 5th Enroth graded card yesterday (09-10 UD Champs Signatures BGS 9.5), I have gone back and forth with myself if I want to bite the bullet on this card featured above. This Enroth PSA graded Future Watch Autographed card has be listed multiple times on eBay and the price tag hasn't budged. The shipping is Free, but it comes with a hefty (in my opinion) $40 price tag that I beleive should be much lower. I guess time will tell if I end up purchasing this one as I continue to inch closer & closer to card number 500 for this collection. I expect to receive a refund for something soon, so maybe that will give me the extra push to snag this one for the collection.  2009-10 UD Champs Signatures Jhonas Enroth - BGS Graded 9.5 Gem Mint. Nothing huge, but today marks my 5th graded Enroth card added to the collection with this sweet 09-10 UD Champs Signatures card. Sorry for the blurry scan - most slabs scan horribly with my old HP scanner!
I have seen this card on COMC for awhile now, and it finally dropped low enough for me to submit an offer to snag this graded mini for the collection. I just looked up this card in the Beckett Population Reports and realized it is also a POP 1, which is also pretty cool. This card is number 471 for the collection and I'm excited to have it. In other news, the Maple Leafs had a great opening night against the Sens tonight. Big win! Lets hope they can keep this up... |
