It's been awhile since I've added anything to my Marc-Andre Fleury collection, but today I was really excited to add this sweet 2003-04 Topps C55 Miniature card to the collection tonight. For those who don't know, these mini cards were made to pay tribute to the 1910-1913 hockey card set manufactered by Imperial Tobacco Canada. These original cards in the early 1900's were inserted in packs of cigarettes, and are largely recognized as the first hockey cards ever produced for a public release. Pretty cool stuff, yeah?
Wow, a lot of blog posts lately. Sweet, right? It means that a lot of cards have been making their way into my collection as of late. No complaints here!
Today's mailday includes another 300 Win Club additition for my ongoing set. This Luongo is from 13-14 Upper Deck Series 1 and is a Group A hit. I was lucky enough to pick this up from another member on Hobby Insider who reached out to me after seeing my 300 Win Club thread. Thanks, pal!
This is my 14th addition to my set so far. Hoping to add more soon! If any of you readers have any of these 300 Win Club cards....yeah... you know where to reach me on here :)
Finally making some progress on my 18-19 UD Synergy Last Line of Defence set!
Added the Green parallels of Hellebuyck, Bobrovsky, Vasilevskiy and Dubnyk today. I only need 6 more Green parallels #/199 to complete this little set! I have all the regular versions already and will not be going after the Purple parallels #/25. So let me know if you have any of these Last Line of Defence Green paralles! Thanks!
