I'm going to preface this blog post with a little math. With today's newest addition, this marks the 453rd card in my entire Jhonas Enroth hockey card collection. This number does include duplicate cards, custom cards, Vault cards, etc, etc, but surpassing the 450-card milestone for this collection is something I'm very proud to have acheived.
Here's hoping I can reach Enroth card # 500... soon-ish? I know this will take some major effort on my part though. Until then, I'll just keep at it! Now, onto today's newest addition, as another unique KHL card enters the collection today. ... More info below!

2010-11 Score #470 Roberto Luongo - French Back Parallel (SSP).Okay, so bit of a random post here. Hence why you'll find this post under the "Random" Category of my blog posts. For collectors out there who may stumble upon this blog post, I just wanted to quickly highlight these EXTREMELY rare cards that many of you may not even know exist. The 2010-11 Score French Back to this day remains probably the hardest parallel to spot in all my days of collecting. I missed the boat on the whole 90's junk wax era, so there are a few tough parallels in those days I'm sure are near impossible to find, but from a "modern day" hockey card product that was released by Panini in 2010-2011, this just came way out of left field when I had first heard about these Score French Back parallels and how hard they are to locate. Now, lets take a deeper dive on these French Back parallels below... 2012-2013 ITG Superlative Past Present Future - Hasek/Miller/Enroth - Silver Version 4/9 (Left) & Gold Version 1/1 (Right).Today I added this 2015-16 Upper Deck 300 Win Club Henrik "The King" Lundqvist to the collection today. This brings me up to 15 cards in the 300 Win Club Jersey/Relic set so far in the (current) 24-card 300 Win Club set I am chasing. Felt great to finally add the Lundqvist! I missed out on a few Cam Ward's not too long ago, so here's hoping I can snag a copy of that one sooner rather than later.
Happy Collecting! This morning, news broke that Jhonas Enroth ( Юнас Энрот ) has signed another 1-year deal with Dinamo Minsk (KHL) for the 2019-2020 season. After joining Orebro (SHL) late in the season, Enroth is now back with Dinamo Minsk for one more year.
I really like this signing from a hobby perspective too, as it will once again provide my Enroth collection with a good variety of Enroth KHL cards to chase from 2019-20 SeReal products, Team Issued cards, etc. So we'll have to see what's in store this upcoming year! I am also hoping Dinamo Minsk can make the playoffs this season also! |
