I picked up a new parallel cards this week that I had been looking to track down for about 2 years now. The base parallel I've recently acquired was the 2018-19 SeReal KHL 11th Season base 'Blue' parallel.
The reason why it had been so tough to track down is because in listings and in other collectors' collections, it was often misstated as the 'Light Blue' (Cyan) parallel, which I also own, as part of this massive 18-card base parallel set. After this release, SeReal (the card manufacturer) listened to collector feedback about the large run of parallels and colour choices and have since scaled back their base parallels.
I currently have 14 of the 18 parallels needed to complete this KHL card rainbow (+ 1 signed base card for fun) and this Blue parallel inches me another step closer to finishing it. What a relief this was to finally find it, especially since I have had the Light Blue parallel shipped to me more than once, thinking it was this tough Blue parallel card. When looking at card scans or pictures, the slightly different shades of blue can be tricky to tell apart from one another.
Currently, I am only missing the Red, Orange, and Green parallels (all have a unnumbered print run /20), along with the Gold Foil 1/1 from the Premium Collection of this series. A tough task to say the least.
If you happen to stumble upon any of these remaining parallels, please feel free to give me a shout!
