So Error cards are awesome. I've always found a unique sense of satisfactory when I manage to acquire a card that features a 'flaw' or element that shouldn't normally be. Sure, the majority of error cards seen today (I'd wager 99% of them out there) aren't your 1990's Pro Set errors that could fetch hundreds, but to hold something that was never supposed to be released off of the production line is always kinda cool. More specifically, In this player collection, it has always felt like an endless treasure hunt to find variations in cards I didn't know existed. I sometimes get the urge to check out COMC in order to search through seller ports to (hopefully) find cards I need for the collection. I have found it has come in handy to check if cards are uploaded with a different and unsuspecting description and could actually be rarer or have a specific attribute not otherwise stated. After searching a grouping of 2014-15 UD Ice Base cards, I managed to snag this Jhonas Enroth card that was missing the silver foil, which can be noticed by the lack of Upper Deck logo (normally located on the top left corner) or branded ICE logo (normally located on the bottom right corner) on the front of the base card. Another score for the collection! Over the years, I have seen a few error cards listed on the secondary market or given to me by other collectors I've met over the years. While they each contain a flaw that most collectors do not purposefully for when obtaining a card, they all have a home in my little collection. I've added some pictures below of some of the Jhonas Enroth error cards I've managed to scoop up. If you have an Enroth error card at home that fits the bill, please feel free to give me a shout so I can add it to my collection. Seriously, no error is too small. It can't hurt to ask! Error cards are a neat indication of how anything can change given the right circumstances. My favourite error card is Pride of a Nation card from 2008-09 UD Black. The card has Dany Heatley pictured with a Jarome Iginla auto. Great topic Aaron!

Thank you so much, Al! For the right kind of player collector, Error cards can be really fun to pickup for the PC. That card you mentioned sounds awesome!

I have an absolutely mind blowing Jagr error from the 93-94 McDonald’s all star set. Please email me back so I can send you some pictures. I think I may have something insanely rare in my hands
