This past week, I picked up a few more cards for the collection.
The main addition was this 2010-11 ITG Between The Pipes Game-Used Jersey Gold parallel, which was included within the 2015-16 ITG Final Vault boxed product.
While some collectors hate the idea of "Vaulted" product, I don't mind them one bit. The products, in my opinion, gave collectors the chance to relive old designs and pickup some great cards along the way for a very affordable price point (at release, anyway).
This card is the red stamped parallel, further increasing my set number in the process. In total, I have 26 cards from this set alone. I'm a big fan of the product and set designs, not to mention this 'era' of collecting as a whole - if you will. While any card variation is accepted in this collection of mine, it's always been fun to add to this set in particular. Maybe one day I'll hit 30 cards from this subset?!? I still have one pack-inserted parallel to go (Game-Used Number Silver /3), and any other Vault or Show Stamped versions I find along the way. So with that being said: If you see any... Let me know!
I also was able to pickup this sweet duplicate of a 2009-10 Upper Deck Ultimate Debut Threads Autograph, numbered 34 of 50. I actually used to own this card, but gave it away to help another collectors' project. They were downsizing their collection, so I was able to make a small trade in order to receive it for the collection once again.
With these two recent additions, the total number of cards in this collection now stands at 689. Closing in on the big 700! We'll see how long it takes me to get there.
As always, Happy Collecting!
