Golden Additions To The Jhonas Enroth Collection

The 53rd 1/1 card in my collection has officially (or, unofficially, depeding on who you ask) arrived in my collection this past week, and I'm here to tell you all about it. 

Although it can't be compared to the new 1/1's coming out of UD Premier or any other fancy new product on the market, these cards do hold extra significance in my personal collection that has been going on approximately 10 years now. It's crazy how time flies, isn't it?

What you're looking at is a 2008-2009 ITG Between The Pipes Masked Men Gold insert card. The pack-pulled gold parallels had a print run of just 10 copies, but this gold parallel is the 2015-2016 ITG Final Vault gold stamped 1/1 variation. Even though these "Vaulted" cards may come with some sort of a invisible asterisk beside them (a story for another time), these Final Vault cards from ITG do allow me to differenciate this aging PC of mine, for which I couldn't be happier. This was also the final piece of the puzzle for the 08-09 ITG Masked Men insert set, as I know have the 2 complete rainbows which include the regular and 15-16 Final Vault stamped parallels. 

For those counting, this Masked Men insert card is my 29th ITG Final Vault card in my collection, my 53rd 1/1, and the 535th card in my Enroth collection as of this afternoon. Will card number 550 be crossed off my hobby bucket list soon? Only time will tell.
