Card of The Week: A Pirates Life For Me

2010-11 ITG Between The Pipes Game-Used Emblem Gold 1/1 of Jhonas Enroth. This skull and crossbones patch comes from a 2008-2009 Portland Pirates AHL Jersey.

I haven't done a 'Card Of The Week' post in a bit - so here it is! 

I really enjoy this unique patch card from ITG Between The Pipes, as it features a skull and crossbones patch from one of Enroth's 2008-09 Portland Pirates AHL jersey's.

I remember all the hype in 2011 that sourrounded this card, which sold for 250+ USD when it first hit eBay. Now that's just crazy.

The card then changed hands a few times, and I was lucky enough to make a deal for it with another Jhonas Enroth card collector a few years ago., along with some other cards I needed for my PC at the time.

To this day, it's still one of the best patches on a card I've ever seen.
