2023 has been awesome for the Enroth card collection. As luck would have it, and as this year draws to a close, another important card has finally made it's way into my collection. This coming on the tail end of a search that spanned over a decade long... 

After seeing a few different copies of this card find a home in various player & team collections over the years, I had thought I'd never be able to find my own copy due to the scarce print run. I've seen this card locked away in a few Gustavsson, Niemi, and Dubnyk collections over the years. What can I say, us goalie collectors can be pretty passionate about their cardboard collections in this hobby.

Not owning this card was a reality I had come to accept as time went on. Sometimes that's the way this hobby goes, and I was happy fellow goalie collectors could enjoy a nice card like this. But as luck would have it, that all changed, when I finally was able to welcome this sweet quadruple patch card into the collection. A longtime Blackhawks collector was kind enough to make a deal with me for this card after I found out they had one. It may have taken a few years for this deal to be agreed upon, but it was worth it in the end. 

The names on this card might not mean much to many collectors in 2023, but these 4 goalie dudes each had quite the hobby following when this card was released in 2010. Ah, how time flies. 

A little side note, but for those that care about funky collection stats, this is my 17th Jersey Numbered card, and the 738th card for this collection. 

As an added bonus, while at the Toronto Expo this past weekend, I stumbled upon a autographed Toronto Maple Leafs puck signed by Enroth. There wasn't many pucks signed during his brief stint in Toronto, so finding one of these at the show was really cool. A found it set up in the front row of a booth, and had to grab it for a few bucks. Score!
