2021-2022 SHL Goaltender of The Year & Honken Trophy Award Winner: Jhonas Enroth

Jhonas Enroth earned the SHL's Goalkeeper of The Year Award in 2021-22.

​As the 2021-22 SHL regular season wrapped up with Örebro HK finishing in 7th place, Enroth sealed his place at the top, earning the SHL's Swedish Goaltender Of The Year award (Honken Trophy) this season.

To take home the Honken trophy as the SHL's top Swedish Goalie, Enroth racked up a league leading 25 wins (25-16-6), 92.3% Save Percentage 5v5, and 6 shutouts. Leading the league in all these statistical categories in no easy thing to do, but it was well earned ever step of the way. Enroth also was named MVP of his team this season, too.

The Honken Trophy was presented to Enroth before Game 2 of Orebro's Round of 16 playoff match by Leif "Honken" Holmqvist himself.

Update: On May 16th, 2022, Enroth has also been awarded SHL Goalie of The Year for his exceptional play this season.
