Saturday Recap: My Pickups From The Past 2 Weeks

After a pretty serious week on the card collection front, I figured I'd share my most recent PC pickups from the past 2 weeks. Sit back, grab some coffee, and enjoy! 

Up first is this sweet jersey card numbered to 10 from 18-19 SeReal KHL 11th Season Premium:

As indicated on the back, this jersey swatch was game-used from the 2018 Winter Ice Break, an outdoor KHL game which featured Dinamo Minsk vs Dynamo Riga. Dinamo Minsk ended up winning that game 3-2.

Once the checklist was released for this product, I just knew this card was going to be one I really tried for.

Next up we have a few of the 11th Season Premium parallels that were recently released. 

But first, here's a list of the parallels needed for the complete 18-card rainbow:

From 18-19 11th Season basic series:

​Between the 11th Season Premium series and the 11th Season Basic series, the base card has a combined 18 total parallels all together. Talk about parallel heck, am I right ? I have two more incoming (Red Foil /10 and Green Foil /10), which will bring my total to 12 of 18. So many one of these days I'll complete this mega rainbow, but I'm not holding my breath. 

This next card I'm sharing is a bit of an odd one, as it took me off guard when I first saw these cards.

SeReal took some of the leftover card stock they had from last year's 2017-18 10th Season Mask Autograph set (Serial Numbered /20 copies) and re-inserted them into this year's 2018-19 Premium product, but this time with a hard signed autograph from the player instead of a sticker. So think of these cards like a buyback autographed card without the buyback portion. Apart from re-released a card, they also re-stamped these autographed cards, since they only had a limited number of cards left to sign. This re-released Enroth autographed card was limited to just 8 copies.

And finally, the two additions I am excited to share the most are these 17-18 10th Season Silver & Gold Foil parallels, which were also released in the 18-19 11th Season Premium product. SeReal did that last year with 16-17 year parallel cards, so I was expecting them to come through with that idea once again and they did just that. The scans don't do these foiled cards any justice, as they pop a lot more when they are in your hands.

Although I may not be able to complete the monstrous 18-card rainbow from this year's series, the Silver and Gold Foils shown above completes last year's 9-card rainbow.
