My most recent pickup for the Jhonas Enroth PC: Sticking with it - A "Mini" finds its way Home7/1/2018 Alright my fellow collectors, so I just created this new Blog feature on my site. I like the writing thing so I figured this would be a nice way to further enjoy this hobby of mine, have fun, showcase my recent pickups and slowly spread the word about my hockey card collection and potentially reach those who maybe not already follow my never-ever-ever-ending updates on my social channels like Instagram, r/hockeycards onReddit, and the main showcases that I do periodically on hobby forums such as SportsCardForum, CloutsNChara, Hobby Insider, Blowout Cards, Beckett, etc, etc, etc. I'll start off with my most recent additions for my personal collection, but I might go back and "relive" some of my past or maybe most recent PC pickups on this blog in order to showcase them here now that I have this blog feature set up. It might be frequent with some "Card of The Week" type stuff), it might not, we'll just see how this thing goes, yeah? So onto the first (and most recent!) Enroth PC pickup featured on this blog: 17-18 Panini KHL 10th Season Foil #124 Jhonas Enroth Okay, so to some this might not feel like a huge pickup, but to me it felt great to finally add this card (or sticker, whatever), to the Jhonas Enroth collection. Since the release of Panini's 17-18 KHL Sticker set, I've been searching high and low for this Foil version #124, that I just about gave up. At first, I wasn't sure that it even existed, as I wasn't able to find a complete checklist, or even a scan of the card , until I was finally able to find a scan of one on a Russian collector site conveniently called LastSticker. This may have been due to the fact that Jhonas Enroth is spelled Юнас ЭНРОТ on all of his Russian-Issued cards this season. The Russian spelling of his name have made tracking down his cards this year somewhat tricky as searching up "Enroth" sometimes won't cut it on these european sites, even though a lot of them have his name spelt both ways on the face of the card. Still, alphabet differences aside, it makes for a cooler looking hockey card in my opinion. I also find that the size (or lack thereof) of these things are hilarious. Seriously, if you haven't picked up a Panini sticker (though I do consider these part of the 'card' realm in a way since they have a hard-ish backing with the Panini logo, card number, etc, until you peel it off revealing the sticker portion that is) from their recent 17-18 series, you should do it for the laughs I'm telling you. I don't have a measuring tape on me, but if you blink too hard these things might just blow away. I was careful with mine though, as I placed this recent addition into a folded penny sleeve to make sure I won't have to re-start my quest to find another one..... until 2018-19 Panini KHL that is, haha. From the inital release, it has taken me roughly 7-8 months to track this one down. Definitely thought it would have been sooner than that. Collecting is funny sometimes. My Best, - Aaron ( A.K.A CreaseCollector) P.S. If you or your friends have any Jhonas Enroth cards they'd like to deal, please let me know! I'm only a few clicks away. I also have a Contact Page on this site where you can send me a message. But feel free to also reach out to my on the various hobby sites I am apart of to get in contact with me. Thanks!
